ZooPlantLab, develops research activities and services aimed at evaluating the effect of environmental changes (eg. Pollutants, changes climate) on living organisms by means of molecular biology techniques able to detect direct or indirect damage to DNA and modification of gene expression. The interdisciplinary nature of the group allows the use of different biomarkers (animal, plant, procariori) to verify the quality of the various environmental compartments: air, water and soil.
